The Best Coworking Spaces in Zanzibar for Digital Nomads

Zanzibar is quickly becoming one of the most popular beach spots for digital nomads in East Africa. With its sun-kissed beaches, friendly locals, bustling markets, and vibrant culture, Zanzibar is an ideal place to work remotely while exploring a new corner of the world.

But the island is also notorious amongst many digital nomads for its slow internet and unreliable power. While I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the internet when I spent 2 months on Zanzibar, the island’s coworking spaces were the best place to get a reliable connection, comfortable seating, and everything you need to be productive.

So, we asked our Africa digital nomad community for their top coworking spaces in Zanzibar, from Stone Town to the various beaches. This quick list is the result. Use it as your guide, and you’ll (probably) never have to worry about bad internet.
